With all the uncertainty and unexpected restrictions that COVID-19 has brought to the world, and to the wedding industry, we are finding ourselves needing to be more and more creative in everything that we do. The creative juices are certainly flowing as we endeavour to create the beautiful, fun and magical wedding day that our couples have always dreamed of… Even if it does look a little different than originally expected.
Let’s be real for a second… Some of the current restrictions we’re faced with are far from ideal. But now is the time to dust ourselves off, think big, remain positive and shake things up!
If you find yourself with a COVID affected wedding, we want to encourage you not to bury your head in the sand, but to stay flexible and remember what this day is actually all about… You and your soulmate celebrating your love with your nearest and dearest. Reception Games
Wedding games are one simple and cost effective addition to your day that we can’t recommend enough! We’ve seen everything in our space from lawn bowls to giant Jenga, Finska, ring tosses and “The Newlywed Game”! You can hire lawn style games for your guests to play throughout the night, or opt for an organised game where you and your partner verse each other for your guests to watch (and laugh) on from their seats. Every time our couples include games in their reception, the good times and laughter throughout the night is undeniable and is a great way to create memories and fun for everyone.

Photo Booth
There’s nothing like the fun of a photo booth! Our one of a kind, custom made Vintage Booth is available to hire from Ten22 Creative and comes with limitless prints and a wide variety of props for you and your guests to play with all night long. Not only is this an interactive activity to get guests on their feet, it’s also a beautiful way for you and your guests to hold on to memories for years to come.
Polaroid Wall
Similar to a photo booth is this concept from Laura & Isa’s big day with us! Get your guests involved in savouring memories by incorporating a Polaroid station with pegs for them to pop their pictures on the wall. We love this addition as it looks beautiful in the space and captures the little moments from your wedding. This idea is easy to organise and cost effective, making it the perfect addition to your reception!
Interactive Activities
Our outdoor courtyard is the perfect space right off of our main room allowing you to think outside of the box and hire in some fun activities! We’ve seen everything in our space from vintage arcade games to Daytona racing machines and everything in between. This is an amazing opportunity to think about the kind of fun that you and your friends like to have and see how you can incorporate it into your reception!
